Comprehensive studies have shown that ultrasounds are not harmful to mother or baby. The scans are similar to the ones you would have medically throughout your pregnancy.
We ensure your comfort throughout the sessions and want our clients to enjoy these precious moments in a safe environment.
We offer services from 10 weeks onwards.
We find that the best results for 3D and 4D ultrasounds occur between the 28th and 34th week of pregnancy.
From 15 weeks is a great time to discover the gender of your bump whilst still being able to get some incredible body images.
If you have an Anterior Placenta (at the front) 28-30 weeks is best and if your placenta is Posterior (at the back) 30-32 weeks. Both of these time frames are approx range and every pregnancy and bub is different so if you are outside the general weeks, we can still check bub out.
From 30 weeks we see some great facial images and can capture those interactions of your bump with smiles and them recognising your voice.
A 2D ultrasound is exactly like the one you had to confirm and discover you had a little one on the way when you visited your health professional.
3D ultrasounds build on the traditional 2D imagery which captures a whole-body image in three dimensions.
3D scans usually allows our clients to see facial features and specifically formed features.
4D ultrasounds are moving three dimensional images of your baby in the womb.
Here is where we can capture amazing moments of your little bump animated and interacting with their utero environment.
5D and Real View are the latest technological advances in utero imagery capturing lifelike moments as they happen in the womb.
These scans DO NOT replace your medical scans such as your dating scan or your 12week NT Scan or your 20week Morphology Medical Scan. These need to be carried out with a medical ultrasound provider
