NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Booking & Deposit A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to secure your newborn session. The remaining balance is due on photo session day.
2. Session Timing Newborn sessions are ideally held within the first 5–14 days after birth. Clients are encouraged to book during pregnancy to ensure availability. Session dates may be adjusted based on the baby’s arrival.
3. Rescheduling If your baby arrives earlier or later than expected, your session will be rescheduled accordingly. If you need to reschedule due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice where possible.
4. Safety • Sessions are baby-led and the photographer will only do what baby is comfortable with. • Parents may be asked to assist during the session.
5. Session Length Newborn sessions can take up to 2 hours to allow time for feeding, settling, and comforting your baby.
6. Siblings & Family Sibling and family images are welcomed but are typically completed at the beginning of the session.
7. Image Selection & Delivery Clients will receive a gallery to select their images within 7 days of the session. Final edited images will be delivered within 3–4 weeks after selections are made.
8. Editing and Shoot Style All images are edited in the photographer’s signature style. Photographer does not do body modifications when editing. The aesthetic is set in studio and unable to be changed. Only in-studio props provided by the photographer will be used.
9. Digital Files & Prints Digital images are supplied in high resolution for personal use only.
10. Copyright & Usage All images remain the copyright of the photographer. Clients may share images on social media but must not alter or edit the images. Commercial use is not permitted without written consent.
11. Model Release By booking, clients agree that images may be used for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes unless otherwise requested in writing prior to the session.
12. Payment Terms Payments can be made via cash or EFT. The remainder of the total cost is due in full on the day of the photo session. Late payments will result in delays in gallery delivery.
13. Refunds Due to the custom nature of photography services, all payments are non-refundable once the session has taken place.
14. Photographer Illness / Emergency In the unlikely event the photographer cannot attend due to illness or emergency, a reschedule will be offered. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
15. Client Responsibility • Ensure baby is fed prior to arrival (if requested). • Bring nappies, wipes, and feeding supplies. • Inform the photographer of any medical conditions.
16. Liability While every care is taken, the photographer is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage during the session.
17. Agreement By paying the deposit, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.
